“Y/N! Come eat your lunch!” your mom yells at you through the open back door. 

“Coming, Mommy!” your 5-year-old self yells back, standing up from where you were playing with your toys. You dust yourself off and get ready to take off to your house when a whimper of an animal stops you. 

“Hello?” you whisper, looking around trying to see where the whimper came from. 

You hear noise in the bushes when a little brown pup comes popping out from it. The pup tackles you and licks all over your face. 

“Oh!” you giggle as its tongue tickles you. It whimpers again, and you tilt your head in confusion. “Oh! You must be hungry!” The puppy wags its tail, and you smile wide, heading inside to eat lunch with your new friend.

“Look, mommy!” Your mom hums softly as she fixes your plate. “I got a new friend!” you giggle causing her to whip around as she was frightened to see who you had brought into the house.

“Get that animal out of here!” your mom raises her voice at you, swatting at the little pup that you were carrying in your arms. 

“But mommy!” you whine. “It’s a puppy and it’s hungy!” 

“It’s not! It’s a big bad wolf,” she sternly tells you. “Go leave it outside right this instant!”

You pout and head back out with the wolfie whining in your arms. You place it on the ground, and it tugs at the bottom of your pants. “I sorry but stay out here. I will get you something to eat and to get you better, okay?” 

The wolf whines and tugs you towards the bush it had leaped out of earlier. You eventually allow it to drag you without resistance, and it takes you behind the bush only for you to find a little nest filled with more wolfies. 

“Woah,” you say in fascination, reaching out to pet one of them. 

A gray one laying on top of the pile yelps and growls at you, scaring you. You jump back and land on your bottom causing your eyes to water and your bottom lip to wobble. 

The brown wolf snarls at the gray wolf and stands protectively in front of you. 

You look at the black wolfie that barely turns his head towards you during the commotion. A white wolfie whines quietly and lays its head on top of the black wolfie’s stomach. 

“Aw, did this cute wolfie get hurt?” you innocently ask as you dry your tears with the back of your hand. “I can be like a doctor and nurse you back to health and help you get better and feed you lots of food!” Your rambles got interrupted by your mother’s screams.

“Y/N?!” your mom screams frantically. “Where did you go?” 

“Here, mommy!” you yell back to her. “I’ll be right back wolfies! Don’t worry!”

As soon as you head back inside, the gray wolf shifts into a little boy. “I told you that you should stay hidden at all costs.”

The brown wolf also shifts into a little boy. “I know, Hyunwoo Hyung. But she can help us!” 

Hyunwoo shakes his head, “Listen to me, Hoseokie. She can’t do anything for us. She is younger than us! Plus, she couldn’t randomly bring 1 ‘puppy’ into her home, let alone 7! She got in trouble for it already!” 

“I know what I am doing, hyung! Leave it to me now. I must do whatever it takes to save Changkyunnie.”

❧ Hannie anon asked: In honor of my dad telling me one of his brothers asked him of me, because he misses me (because of Covid I have last seen him I think in February?) and me quite literally breaking down crying because I feel so deprived of seeing all my aunts and uncles but it hit me now, may I please request something like this with Shownu, that she has a breakdown and he suggests they go back to her hometown for Christmas to meet everyone again and introduce him to her huge family? If it’s okay with you of course, you can change it up or do whatever you want of course, or not write it at all, it’s okay- hannie anon

❧ A/N: hey friend, I know how tough it is to be without family, I was without my mom through the pandemic and almost didn’t make it home for the holidays. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t tear up a bit when I saw my mom in person at the airport. This will ease up soon and we’ll be able to safely see our family that we miss so dearly keep your head up bub 💕

You were a mess. Your face with flushed and wet with tears. You buried yourself under pillows and blankets hoping to drown out your sadness. Your muffled cries had turned into small whimpering and sniffles at this point but you still weren’t ready to get up just yet. The bedroom door opened quietly, a small knock on the door alerting you that someone was entering the room. You sat up and wiped your eyes. You grabbed a pillow and held it close to your chest. 

“Hi, love,” Hyunwoo said quietly 

“Hi,” you sniffled

He sat down on the bed, his body next to yours. His face was laced with worry, your sudden breakdown taking him by surprise. He held out his hand waiting for you to place your hand in his. You lace your fingers with his, a small smile twitching at your lips. 

“Are you feeling a bit better now?” he asked

“A bit,” you hummed, “I just...I was feeling a lot.”

“You don’t have to explain yourself to me, love. I understand.”

You watched Hyunwoo’s thumb stroke your hand reassuringly. You could feel yourself getting calmer just being in his presence. You closed your eyes, a sudden feeling of exhaustion crashing over you. 

“Let’s go visit your family for the holidays.” 

Your eyes immediately opened at Hyunwoo’s proposal. You stared at him for a moment to see if this was some kind of joke- it would’ve been a terrible joke if it was. 

“You mean it?” you croaked, the tears starting to prick at your eyes again

“Yes of course I mean it,” he smiled, “It makes me upset seeing you so distraught and if I can do anything to make you happy, I’ll do it.”

“It’d mean so much to me if we did go see my family.”

Your voice was strained as your tried to keep the tears from falling down your face again but this time with happy tears. His hand came up to cup your cheek. You nuzzled your face into his hand, your lips pecking the palm of his hand.

“Then it’s settled. I’ll get the tickets tonight.” 

You smiled wide, your arms wrapping around Hyunwoo’s neck. You practically tackled him with your hug but he definitely didn’t mind. He was just happy that he could make you feel happy.

I came down the stairs to the living room, sat down on the couch, and went, “Mom, I did the math, and I’m going to meet my soulmate on Christmas.” Her eyebrows go up in alarm, “No way! You’re going to meet your soulmate on Christmas! But wait, everywhere is closed, and only our family and some friends are coming over.” I sigh, “I know,... But everything happens for a reason, right? So, we’ll see what happens when Christmas comes around.” She nods, “Of course, dear, I know that whoever it is, is made specifically for you. Someone strong, sweet, and an absolute teddy bear, just like you!” I laugh, “I guess so. Thanks, Mom.”

Christmas approaches a lot faster than I imagined. The whole family is coming over to celebrate Christmas and with my mom’s fretting over making it perfect. I completely forgot that I’m supposed to meet my soulmate today. I help her put the ham in the oven. And she goes over to the fridge and gasps, “Oh my god, honey, I forgot the eggnog, and our guests are going to be here in an hour! Can you please run and go get me some?” I nod and pull on my jacket and throw on my shoes before heading out. I head over to the general convenience store, assuming they have eggnog.

I stroll in, the bells indicating my entrance as I look around the store and find the bottle I was looking for. I grab two, knowing the first bottle will be gone long before the night finishes. I walk up to the counter to see a stunningly handsome man standing behind the register. He's messing around with a pen and a piece of paper when I clear my throat, he looks up, and I lose all feeling in my hand as I place the two bottles on the counter. Everything zooms out, and my ears ring as my vision zooms quickly back in. “I… Uh, Um. Did that happen to you too?” He swallows and nods, and it registers again, “It’s nice to meet you, soulmate. I’m (Y/n).” He gives me a small smile, “I’m Hyunwoo.” He rings up the two eggnogs, and I go to pay for it but notice the total is zero. “It’s on the house, well, I guess on the store.” I giggle, “You’re cute. Do you have anywhere to be tonight?” He shakes his head, “No, my friends and I already celebrated together yesterday. So, I was going to grab some eggnog myself and go to bed.” I smile, “Would you like to spend it with me and, well, my family?” He grins, “I would love to! Let me just close up really quick!” I nod, and he takes off the apron he had wrapped around his waist. He goes around locking the doors, turning off lights, and totaling up the register. When he’s finished, he gestures for me to follow him out the main entrance, and he locks it up behind us. “Where to?” He asks, and I tell him it’s just a few houses down. “We’ve lived this close all these years?” He gestures to the house two doors down from mine. I gasp, “Oh my gosh, we have,…” He grins, “Well, I hardly know you, but I already know you were worth the wait.” I blush and tell him, “I feel the same way about you.”

fansigns are always fun. hyunwoo loves meeting his fans and you love seeing him happy. knowing that there are so many people loving and supporting your boyfriend and his group warms your heart because he deserves everything.

but there are times when fans forget their boundaries. 

as you were watching hyunwoo interacting with a nice looking girl, you couldn’t help but notice the way she was leaning in too much and touching him more than she should. 

gritting your teeth together, you watched the whole situation unfold in front of you until it was time for her to move on to the next member. by then you were already burning inside with jealousy. 

when the fansign was over, hyunwoo immediately came up to you and kissed you, only for you not to kiss him back. he looked at you taken aback. “what did i do?”

“why don’t you go and kiss that fan, huh?” he instantly knew what you were talking about because he also noticed that she was a bit out of control but the idea only made him smirk.

he dropped his arm around your shoulders and pulled you closer, he leaned in so he could whisper in your ear. “let’s go home and i’ll show you how much i want to kiss you”

you love minhyuk with all your heart but sometimes you just want to punch him where the sun don’t shine for his behaviour. he loves teasing you and he knows exactly what gets you riled up and one of the things is making you jealous.

minhyuk loves the reaction he gets out of you and today is not an exception. you knew he was up to something when the two of you walked into a store to buy some clothes and there were two girls who immediately eyed him.

so when you were minding your own business, minhyuk wandered around the store to look for something too until he was interrupted by the same two girls. his first instinct was to see if you’re looking and when he realised that you are, it was game on.

the girls started giggling and suggesting clothes that would ‘look good on him’ as he was happily involving himself in the conversation, occasionally glancing at you as you were throwing daggers with your eyes. 

your hands were curled into fists when you walked over them. “the only thing that would look good on him is if you back the fuck off” you grumbled quietly, trying to stay calm because the last thing you want is to get kicked out of the store.

minhyuk’s laugh filled your ears as he pressed you gently against the rack of clothes. “i think the only thing that will look good on me is you”

YOO KIHYUN

you usually don’t get jealous because kihyun always manages to avoid those kind of situations. if a girl is a bit more than friendly, he’s quick to excuse himself and walk away before anything goes out of hand.

but sometimes you’re full of surprises. you haven’t seen kihyun that much for the past week because he’s always working and even though you’re okay with it and you know that this is his job that he loves, you can’t help but to feel a bit sad and lonely sometimes.

so when he finally came back from another long day of practicing, you were clinging on him more than usually with a pout on your lips. “what’s up with you?” he chuckled, amused by your sudden affection.

“i missed you. you were working so much this week and i haven’t seen you that much while your members were able to see you all day every day” you grunted.

“wait, are you jealous of my friends?” he raised his eyebrow, studying your face.

your pursed your lips together not wanting to answer. it was dumb and you knew it.

“wait, you are jealous” he suddenly laughed louder, his heart fluttering. “my baby is jealous that my friends get to see me more than you?” kihyun said slowly as he laid you down on the couch before hovering above you. 

he didn’t need the answer, the look on your face said enough and oh my... how he loved that look. “i’m sorry, sweetheart. let me make it up to you”

CHAE HYUNGWON

hyungwon loved to take you everywhere with him and you loved to be involved with everything he does even if that means you’re just watching him work. your favourite thing? watching his dance practices.

just like today, you were sitting in the corner of the dance studio, while he was dancing to their new song. what you didn’t expect is to see female back up dancers. it’s not the first time but today’s dance is definitely different from what you’ve seen before.

it’s more intense and needs physical contact since the song itself is kinda sexy. your boyfriend, of course, was professional as always. he never lets his hands linger more than it needs but you couldn’t stop the feelings bubbling inside you.

you watched closely how he placed his hands on the girls waist, slowly swirling her to the side. his face came closer to her face before turning away. it was just a dance. it was his job. but that doesn’t mean you have to like every second of this interaction.

so when a short break was announced, hyungwon hopped happily to you, immediately pulling you into a hug only to realise that you were resisting. he looked at you confused, even scared. “what’s wrong? are you tired?”

you felt like you were acting like a child but words came out of your mouth before you could even comprehend them. “i don’t know, ask your dance friend”

hyungwon looked at you for a second before connecting the dots in his head. his face lit up like a christmas tree as he laughed. “baby, don’t be jealous. i’m all yours, you know that”

and you do know but now you felt like playing a little game wouldn’t hurt. you crossed your arms on your chest and looked away from him. hyungwon knew what you were doing and he loved it. he grabbed your hands and pulled you closer to him, so that your lips where an inch away from his. “when we get home, i’ll show you”

maybe you’re overreacting, maybe you’re not but as soon as the waitress came to get your order, you immediately had a strange vibe from her. however, jooheon seemed clueless, he just wanted to have a nice dinner with you.

at first you tried to brush it off but when she came again, this time her chest more visual than before, your hands curled into fists as you clenched your teeth. she leaned over the table, too close to your boyfriend for your liking as she placed the water down.

“excuse, can you please stop trying to rub your boobs into my boyfriends face?” the words left your mouth before you knew. jooheon choked on the water he had in his mouth, his eyes wide open.

the waitress quickly walked away with a glare on her face but it was too late as you were already riled up. “baby” jooheon called you out with a giggle.

“what? what’s so amusing to you, jooheon? did you like it?” you grumbled. in reality, he probably didn’t even notice because his eyes were either on you or on the food and you know it but jealousy always get’s the best of you.

but jooheon doesn’t seem to mind. “actually i do like it” he shifted in his seat before leaning in. “how about we finish this quickly and go back home so i could remind you whose am i” the smirk on his face told you everything you needed to know.

LIM CHANGKYUN

you were glaring at the girl who was practically throwing herself all over your boyfriend. you couldn’t hear what she was saying since you were further away but you can imagine since only a blind person couldn’t see how handsome he is and sometimes it’s hard to walk past a man like him. but your patience was running low and before you knew, you were storming off to their direction.

without hesitating, you wrapped your arms around his shoulders and kissed him. changkyun was startled by your sudden outburst but quickly regained his consciousness back and kissed you back, a small smile playing on his lips as he instantly knew what this was all about.

you were not a fan of pda and he’s not dumb, he knew that the girl in front of him was flirting with him so the only explanation of your behaviour is jealousy and he loved every second of it. maybe even too much.

you pulled away and immediately regretted your decisions when you saw the look on changkyun’s face. he had a teasing smirk on his face as he eyed you up and down before biting his lip. “get a room” the girl scoffed before turning around and walking away, her heals making a loud sound against the floor.

changkyun leaned in closer, his mouth beside your ear as he nibbled the skin a bit. he grabbed your hand and placed it on top of his crotch so you could clearly feel his bulge. “i think we should get a room” he whispered in your ear.

“I want one...” You trailed off in a daze, staring over your fiance’s shoulder.

Hyunwoo furrows his brows and looks around before turning to follow your gaze. His eyes immediately soften at the sight, his body relaxing and allowing a small smile to form.

He can see the little girl, probably no older then a year old, stumbling around next to her parents in the shopping mall. Her silky black curls peeking out from beneath her pink knitted beanie hat with cute floppy bunny ears on top. Round cherub cheeks stained pink from the chill outside. A cream-colored, too-puffy jacket making her arms stick out to the sides comically.

“I want three,” He counters. Your eyes snap up to his and he laughs at the look on your face. Stuck somewhere between shock and awe.

“We should probably get started then,” You whisper, obviously thinking hard about the logistics. The quizzical look on your face makes Hyunwoo chuckle as he grabs your cheeks and kisses you.

“Sounds great,” He grins and grabs your hand, leading you toward the exit, “I’ll drive.”
